Gospel Dream is a cosmopolitan group, created in 1990 in Paris, consisting of African-Americans and Africans. Gospel Dream brings together five tenors, six female intonated voices, soprano and contralto, two singers in the register low, as well as a pianist and a trumpet player. Gospel Dream's performances and recordings are said to be a testimony-a spiritual journey-an atmosphere generated at the choir's concerts. This album captures the emotion of the authentic voices of gospel music through some of the greatest gospel songs, including Down by the Riverside, Nobody Knows the Trouble I've Seen, and We Shall Overcome.
