There is a discernible spiritual energy present when voices are lifted up in praise to God. Even though FFH's sophomore major-label release is not billed as a praise and worship album, this energy is present on every track. The group's lead singer and principle songwriter, Jeromy Deibler, crafts his songs as expressions to God. An earnest conversational tone forms the prayer, praise, and petition that distinguish this album as a musical interaction with the Savior. Originally an a cappella group, there is no mystery about why the spirited blending of four voices decorate every song. With tenderness and exuberance, these accomplished vocalists carry the focus of the album. But by no means can the music be overlooked. Groovy acoustic guitar work layered over an immaculate drum production enlivens the project as it alternates between upbeat and gentle moods.
